From the moment you send the estimate to the moment the car is back in your lot, every job at Essential ADAS follows the same seven steps. Most jobs are back the next business day, and we give you the return time when we confirm the job.
How a job moves through Essential ADAS
The seven steps
Steps 2, 3 and the prep in step 4 are included at no charge. Alignment, calibration, the post-scan and the road test are their own lines.
- Send the job. Use the form at Send a Job, email info@essentialcalibration.com, or text the VIN to (737) 279-4863. Include the estimate (PDF or estimating-system export), the RO number, the needed-by date, and pickup or drop-off. We run the estimate and VIN through our ADAS identification platform, pull the OEM procedures and position statements, and reply with the required operations and the return time within one business hour during shop hours.
- Pickup and check-in. Our driver picks up inside the service area. Check-in photos: four corners, dash, mileage, fuel level; existing damage noted. Included.
- Pre-service diagnostic health scan. Full-module scan before anything is touched. The report opens the file. Included.
- Prep and alignment. Fuel level per OEM (we fill when the procedure requires it, included), tire pressure, ride height, load removed, targets positioned. 4-wheel alignment when the procedure requires it, with the printout.
- Calibrate to the OEM procedure. Static in the bay, dynamic on the road, or both in the OEM's order. If a calibration will not complete, we stop, diagnose, document and call you before any additional work.
- Post-calibration scan and road test. A second full-module scan, then a 5-mile minimum ADAS verification road test confirming each equipped system operates.
- Document and deliver. The documentation package is assembled, the invoice is itemized per operation with the OEM citation on each line, and the car is delivered back with delivery photos.
Turnaround and scheduling
Most jobs are back the next business day. Drop-offs are welcome at 35931 Ronald Reagan Blvd, Georgetown, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Need it faster? Say so on the job form and we will tell you what is possible before you commit the car.
Billing
One invoice per vehicle, one line per operation, each with its OEM justification, so the invoice maps to the estimate. Insurer price guides are applied where they govern the job. Account terms are set up when you send your first job.
